08/03/2010 Spring has sprung

At last the first signs of spring are here. Snowdrops are popping their heads above the ground and we are getting some milder days with a little sunshine.
A lot of people miss the camping and caravanning shop that used to be on site and the good news is that it will be re-opening under the name of Ollies at Ord and will be run by Alan Vail who some of you will remember from a few years ago when he managed the shop for Howard Marshall. As well as the shop there will be a small arcade area to keep the kids amused on rainy days. I am sure you will all join us in wishing him the best of luck.
We had some more good news last week when we were voted North East Region winner of Practical Caravan top 100 sites. A just reward for all the hard work of the staff and many thanks to all the visitors to our park who took the time to fill in the feedback forms. It wouldn't have happened without you.
We hope to have news shortly about the possibility of having wi-fi internet access throughout the park, more on that in our next newsletter.
We now have a good stock of new holiday homes in for the start of the season proper as well as good selection of pre-owned ones so feel free to come and see us. we have some very tempting deals to do.
